DOODLEWYN
Alter ego: Dewi Kusuma, 23, Indonesian animator from Yogyakarta.
“Draw it, then do it!”
Origin
Dewi was drawing a flip-book at an animation festival when a fire alarm sent everyone running into a dark stairwell. She drew a glowing arrow on her sketchpad to show the way, and it jumped off the page and lit the path. What she draws now comes to life for a minute.
Powers
- Sketch-Real: whatever she draws becomes real for 60 seconds
- Frame Skip: moves like a flip-book, flickering a few metres in a blink
- Colour Splash: paints colour back into grey, sad places
Weakness
Smudges: rain and erasers smudge her drawings and they fade away.
Sidekick
Doodle, a living scribble puppy made of pencil lines.
Villain
The Smudge King, who smudges every drawing and wants the world grey.
Costume
a sunny-yellow and sky-cyan fitted hero suit with doodle patterns, white panels, a sketchpad bracer, a pencil holster, yellow flat boots.
